COMMUNITY SERVICE COMMITTEE

 

 

Matt Miller  is the Chairman of the Community Service Committee.

This committee shall devise and carry into effect plans which will guide and assist the members of he club in discharging their responsibilities in the community relationships.  The chairman of this committee shall be responsible for the Community Service activities of the club and shall supervise and coordinate the work of any committees that may be appointed on particular phases of Community Service.  (By Laws Article VIII Section 3)

Sub-Committee for Scholarships is under the direction of the Rotary Foundation

 

Contributions to Groups & Organizations is under the direction of the Club Board.

Sub-Committee Chairman for Paul Harris Banquet Recognition      Jerry Pinson

 

Sub-Committee Co-Chairperson for Highway Clean-Up      

 

Sub-Committee Chairman for Dynamite Kids                                   

 

 

Members involved with the Community Service Committee are Marcille Lawrence, Marilyn Mathis, Joy Prater, Susan Sangren, Lloyd Kirkham, Larry Brandt, Jerry Pinson, Debbie Henry, Matt Miller, Bruce Reese, and Tom Ramsey.

 

 

GOALS OF THE COMMITTEE

 

1.)  Share Rotary with the general public by placing a Rotary image compaign PSA in a print publication, on a radio or television program, or on a billboard.

 

2.)  Complete a service project that meets the needs of the community and involves those being helped.

 

3.)  Implement a joint project with another local organization in which club members contribute to planning and hands-on efforts.
