As you can see in this photo, a GREAT time was had by all last week when District 6110 Governor, AC Moncrief and Assistant Dist. Governor Dave Matty visited our Rotary club and Dental Clinic. In addition to being our District Governor, an avid duck hunter, author, coach and Peace Corps Volunteer...apparently AC also has dentistry skills! Who knew?! 07/23/2009

Following an informational introduction by John Paul Hammerschmidt on July 16, our Speaker and Guest of Honor, Senator David Pryor and his wife, Barbara, shared stories and experiences from their life in public service and politics with our club. It was a wonderful meeting!

2009 Scholarship Winners

School Nurse Joann Tice was awarded the 2009 Rotary Community Service Award and Paul Harris Fellow at the Annual Paul Harris Luncheon held April 23rd at First Presbyterian Church. Tice was singled out for her efforts in teaching CPR to hundreds of area residents, and for her work with the North Central School Scholarship Pageant which has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to young women in our community. The Award was presented by Rotary District Governor, Ron Peterson.
Harrison Rotary's Dr. Terri Coats rubs elbows with the new Rotary International President Elect, Ray Klinginsmith. Kenny is a member of the Rotary Club of Grangemouth, Central, Scotland. Kenny will assume the duties of Rotary President at the Interanational Convention in Birmingham, Great Britain, in June 2009. Dr. T was attending the PETS (President Elect Training Seminar) in Ft. Smith March 20 & 21st.
